Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova and Manny Pacquiao are three of the athletes who swear by this workout… and now its hit our shores. The Nike Training Club is a bodyweight workout inspired by sports. Nike Master Trainer Brian Cochran has joined the team in the UAE to are offer a 45 and 60-minute workout that includes three different drills – Get Lean, Get Toned, Get Strong.  Each class with a five to 10 minute warm-up session that includes 30 second drills.  In between each drills you are encouraged to keep moving as an active means of recovery.

Then your class differs according to whether it’s Lean, Tone or Strong. In Lean, you do short, sharp drills, such as plyometrics and jumping, in Tone you do body weight activities such as squats, and in Strong, you lift dumbbells and weight plates.

Classes are being run at Engine Health & Fitness, Jumeirah Beach Road. Priced Dhs55 for non-members, free for members.
