Green Toast

Toast a slice of Ezekiel bread (it’s gluten-free, low-carb and is a high-protein made from live sprouted grains). Then grab a half an avocado and mash. Drizzle with flax or olive oil, add pink Himalayan crystal or rock or sea salt and a pinch of hot pepper to taste. The perfect bite full of protein, carbs, essential good fats, salts and low GI sugars.

 

Green Smoothie

In your blender whizz up this nutritious glass of heaven

Handful of greens (kale or spinach)
Handful of soft fruit, like banana
1/2 avocado
1 tsp almond butter
Rock salt
Water or ice
Almond milk optional (recipe to make your own below)
Chia tablespoon
Wheatgrass powder teaspoon
1 scoop raw protein powder, optional
1 tablespoon coconut oil
Raw cacao or organic cocoa, 1 heaped teaspoon

 

Make Your Own Almond Milk

Use in your green smoothie •
1 cup raw almonds soaked overnight
3 cups of water
Salt and raw honey or stevia to taste

 

Green Juice
My personal and favourite green juice recipe, which makes 1 litre is:

5 stalks celery
1/ 2 lemon
1 knob ginger
2 green apples
Handful of greens like spinach or kale
2 cucumbers
2 broccoli spears

Juice and serve cold in a cocktail glass Sex And The City style!
