First Look: Dubai’s New Yoga Loft

Urban Yoga has thrown open the doors to its new loft  in Business Bay and we got a peek inside

The team that has been practising their downward dogs in some of the most glamorous pop-up locations in Dubai, such as The Archive and XVA Gallery, have now thrown over the doors to their new studio in Business Bay.

The studio splits into two levels – the Warehouse and the Loft. The large workout space the Warehouse features double-height ceilings and views of Jumeira and the Gulf, while the Loft is a smaller studio on the second level, which is where the team will be running smaller classes and workshops.

And with the launch of the studio comes new classes. Urban Yoga will be offering Yoga For Athletes, which will help you stretch out and keep your body balanced, while Intro To Meditation, will help you get into the zone and spurn all those stresses of daily life. And finally there’s Musical Flow, where you can work through your poses to chilled out tunes. More advanced yogis might like to check out their two-hour drop-in class, where you practise your moves or follow Urban Yoga’s plan for the week.

Before you check out the class you can snap up a host of yoga brands in their lounge area, such as Kira Grace, Liquido Active, Mantraband and Spiritual Gangster.
